Vinitha Watson is a lateral thinker, design strategist, and committed learner. She has sometimes been called “divergent,” and her path has been just that: Vinitha caught the startup bug while opening Google’s first satellite office in India. She went on to start her own textile design company, then joined the experimental first class of the Design Strategy MBA at California College of the Arts in 2008.
She is a Co-Founder, and currently Executive Director, of Zoo Labs, a non-profit Music and Music Tech Accelerator where creators from different fields come together to have their ideas collide. In addition, Vinitha consults on innovation strategy and growth planning for nonprofits, founded The Resident Wellness Project, which addresses wellness for Medical Doctors, and sits on the boards of Nexleaf Analytics and California College of the Arts.
